My name is Marie Celano. I am a licensed counselor (LCPC) in Columbia, Maryland. I have been providing counseling support and trainings since 2008.

As your counselor and therapist, my approach is to partner with you and facilitate your healing through a variety of evidence-based techniques. My goal is to equip and empower you with compassion, understanding, and confidence to feel more free to be who you were meant to be. I am interactive and will provide you with tools and resources that you can implement between sessions.

I received a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University. I have experience working with children, at-risk youth, adults, and couples. Over my 13+ years of experience, I have had the privilege of partnering and working with a diverse group of people from all walks of life that have faced a variety of traumas.

As the understanding of the brain and trauma has advanced, I have equipped myself with the most current treatment options to ensure I am providing the best for my clients. I am continually learning through group consultations and trainings, and have obtained several certificates (see below).
